With GitPat, you can download one or a hundred patent documents rapidly. Get all types of U.S. patents (utility, design, reissue, published applications, and plant patents).

GitPat’s Word documents give you text that’s useful for briefs and court presentations. GitPat handles Greek letters, math symbols and super- and subscripts properly, so you don’t need to make tedious versions of PDF documents.

GitPat also makes two-column claim charts for you. It fills in the left-hand column with patent text, splitting each claim into limitations. And, GitPat’s charting tool handles Greek letters and other difficult formatting. It even includes italics for added matter in reissue patents, and it marks deleted matter with brackets.

GitPat simplifies brief-drafting. Just mouse over patent text you want to quote, and GitPat builds a quotation and a citation to that quote for you. No more tediously looking at the patent’s row numbers (5, 10, 15, . . .) and creating your own citation.
